01 / 06What we store
Account: your email address and the sign-in method you used (email and password, Google, or Apple).
Profile: username, display name, bio, profile image, and your customisation settings — category, template, theme, background, button style and text alignment.
Links: the title, address and order of every link you add, so your page can display them.
02 / 06Public vs private
Once you publish a SumQR, your username, display name, bio, profile image, styling and links are public: anyone who opens your SumQR address or scans your QR code can see them, and search engines can index the page.
Your email address, sign-in details and unpublished profiles stay private to your account and dashboard.
03 / 06Scan counts
When a published SumQR page is opened, we record a scan event. Each event stores only three things: a random event ID, the ID of the SumQR that was opened, and the time it happened.
We use these events for the scan count shown on the public page. We do not record IP addresses, location, device details, browser fingerprints, or who scanned. To avoid counting the same visit twice, your browser keeps a small local note of when it last counted a scan; that note never leaves your device.
04 / 06What we don't do
We do not sell your personal data to advertisers, run ads, or use advertising or analytics tracking tools on SumQR pages.
Sign-in uses a session token stored in your browser so you stay logged in. No tracking or advertising cookies are set by SumQR.
05 / 06Third parties
Our database, authentication and image storage run on Lovable Cloud (Supabase). If you sign in with Google or Apple, that provider handles the sign-in and tells us your account identity.
The homepage footer shows badge images served by Product Hunt, AlternativeTo and Launch Llama. Links you add to your own page point to outside websites, which have their own privacy policies.
06 / 06Your control & contact
You can edit or delete your profile, links and account at any time from your dashboard. Deleting a SumQR also removes its links and scan events. Questions or removal requests: support@sumqr.com.
